The Therapy Procedure
First of all. Our Clinical Director will apply a topical anaesthetic to numb your skin, which takes about 30 minutes. Then for the procedure itself, which takes a further 20-30 minutes, she will use a Genuine Dermarollermedical device to create thousands of micro-medical needle-columns in your facial skin. The columns will be about 0.1mm wide, and close rapidly so that the skin recovers very quickly – often the same day.
Afterwards, your body will start to naturally regenerate and repair the skin, working below the surface in the dermis. It can be up to six weeks before improvement is visible, as it takes time to form new collagen, generate new skin cells and enhance blood supply.
For best results
Depending on your skin, our Clinical Director will recommend 2-3 procedures with around 6 weeks between them. You may need more to improve acne scars and other types of scarring.
