What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is the ancient art of combining essential oils with structured massage techniques to promote health and wellbeing. The oils, mostly from plant extracts, work together with your body’s natural energy to improve clarity of mood and relaxation.
Around 50 oils with different therapeutic properties are regularly used to help a variety of conditions; and there are two ways in which you can benefit from them: by absorbing them through the skin, and by inhaling them. Our sense of smell is linked directly to our brain, creating an immediate physiological effect whenever we inhale a fragrance.
