How should I prepare my skin before my VersaSpa treatment?
Before arriving for your VersapSpa treatment you should be showered, shaven and remove your make-up, perfume, deodorant and moisturiser.
Do I need to bring anything with me to my appointment?
Bring dark coloured and loose fitting clothing to wear after your treatment. You may also want to wear flip flops on your feet. You can wear a swimming costume or underwear while in the tanning booth if you prefer.
How long does a VersapSpa tan last for?
Your VersaSpa tan will last for around 4 – 7 days, depending on your skin type and how well you moisturise and look after your skin after treatment.
Do I need to moisturise my skin after my VersaSpa treatment?
We recommend that you do not apply moisturiser until 6 hours after your spray tan as this could cause streaking.
It is important to keep your skin moisturised after this time as dry and flaky skin will mean your tan fades more quickly. The team at Therapy House will be able to recommend a suitable moisturising product for your skin that will work with the VersaSpa products to make your tan last longer.
How long should I wait until I take a shower or bath?
You should wait a minimum of 6 hours after your VersaSpa treatment before taking a shower or bath. This will give the product time to work and prevent your tan going streaky.
Can I exercise after my VersaSpa treatment?
It is best to wait about 6 hours before doing any exercise or activity that causes perspiration to prevent any streaking.
Do I need to wear sunscreen even if I have a VersaSpa tan?
A spray tan is only a temporary appearance of a tan and so your skin doesn’t have any protection from the suns rays. You should continue wearing sunscreen as normal to protect your skin from burning.
